Church Planting is a Key Strategy of Integrity Church
Its not our desire to be the largest church in eastern North Carolina, it is our desire to “church” North Carolina. We feel the best way to do this is through starting new churches. We will multiply our church by starting new ones in a responsible manner. Integrity Church will be a hub for training, equipping, and sending out church planters to start new multiplying churches.
Our aim is to plant biblical churches. Churches that are committed to the glory of God, the Gospel, the Scriptures, Church Planting, Healthy Leadership, Authentic Community, a Relevant Method and the Mission of God. These values are expressed through members and extended to the community.
Our vision is to plant new churches who are led by a plurality of elders and share our mission and vision, who gladly embrace our confession of faith, and who are committed to identifying with being evangelical, reformed and missional.
Our church planting residents and church planters will be assessed by the Elders of Integrity Church, the Acts 29 Network and PlantNC.
Church Planting Residency
Integrity Church is a church plant with the desire to continue planting churches. One way in which this mission will be accomplished is through our Church Planting Residency Program. The purpose of the program is to bring men who have the desire to plant churches into Integrity to develop skills necessary for the task. The resident will be committed to the Integrity Church family. They will also spend a lot of time with Pastor Ben, walking through what its really like to plant a church, and helping them prepare for it.
The Integrity Church Planting Residency is a simple, comprehensive process designed to cultivate a man into a qualified church planter equipped to preform the work.
The program is being/has been designed for qualified men to complete prior to full-time church planting work. Its goal is to instill in the planter the biblical convictions of Integrity Church, and to envision a new expression of those biblical convictions in the context of a new church.
The Church Planting Residency is a training track focused on developing an appropriately gifted and qualified man into a lead church planter. Success in this leadership development endeavor requires:
- Identifying the core competencies that are crucial to successful church plant leadership
- Assessing the resident’s current capability in these areas
- Implementing an customized plan tailored to the specific needs of the resident
