New Elder Candidate | Todd Hammell
This past weekend, at our Prayer and Worship Night, Pastor Scot and I were pleased to announce our new elder candidate, Todd Hammell, to our church family!
It has been encouraging to have Todd serve as our deacon of member care for some time now. Todd has demonstrated the qualifications described in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. He has proven spiritual leadership in his home for his wife (Susan) and children (Molly and Bryce). He has been a great asset to our church family and Pastor Scot and I both believe that he would serve as a great elder (pastor) to our congregation.
Our encouragement for you at this time is to simply get to know Todd and his family during this “candidate phase”. Both Pastor Scot and I have been meeting with him for months now to talk about him in this role and to get to know him more. So, with the holidays approaching, we hope that you might get a chance to carve out time to ask Todd any question that you would like. Feel free to ask questions about his ministry experience, his family, his theology, his testimony, etc.
This candidate phase should last around 2 months. This is your time to get to know him and his family through this process. This is important for you because it is our hope that he would be one of the servant leaders over Integrity Church, so that our elder team can further equip you to mature and multiply.
Thank you for helping us cheer Todd on in this process!
