New Elder | Kirk Burtch

This past Sunday evening we gathered as a church to pray and celebrate all that God is doing in the life of our church. One of the highlights of this gathering was officially installing Kirk Burtch as an elder (pastor). Throughout the New Testament we see a pattern of a plurality of elders. For instance, in Acts 20:17, Paul calls for the “elders” to come together for a final meeting. In Titus 1:5, he appointed “elders” to lead the church. Therefore, we see the model in the New Testament church to be led by multiple pastors who are each biblically qualified (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1) and gifted to serve the body in specific areas.

Two months ago we put forth Kirk as an elder candidate. In this phase we invited members of Integrity Church to get to know Kirk and bring any encouragements, questions, or concerns to the elders regarding his biblical qualifications. Thankfully, it was an unanimous decision to officially install Kirk as an elder! This past Sunday several people shared testimonies of how God has used both Kirk and, his wife, Linda to impact their lives. It was truly a joy to see so many people blessed by this incredible couple!

Kirk and Linda have been faithfully attending Integrity since 2012. Kirk has been leading a small group since 2013 and has been instrumental in discipling others and helping equip future leaders of Integrity. He and Linda both have displayed incredible hospitality to our body and they are constantly building Gospel community around their home. Kirk has been a great asset to our church family and Pastor Todd and I both believe that he will serve as a great elder to our congregation! We are thankful that Kirk will lead alongside of us. Please take time and encourage Kirk as he transitions to this new role to serve our church.

We Met Our Goal! | $120k Update

main image

Exciting news Integrity Church... We are thrilled to announce that we met our goal! We are blown away by the generosity displayed by our people. In just a little over two months we were able to raise $120k so that we can move into our new facility. We are grateful for all of you coming together to make this happen. Now, we have the opportunity to move into our new space with no debt and we now have more opportunities to reach people for the sake of the Gospel. We are thankful for God’s provision!

As we move forward, please continue to pray for a smooth transition. Our goal is to be in the facility in January. Everything right now is depending on the timing of the renovation. Once the renovation is complete we will move in! We can’t wait to see what lies ahead! Thank you all for your faithfulness and generosity!
